IT Business Solution is currently hiring for an Application Developer for our premier client in Fitchburg, WI. This is a 5-month contract-to-hire position in the manufacturing industry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Education and Experience »
- 4+ years of experience in SQL reporting development is required
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL, T-SQL queries and use of stored procedures is required
- Database administrator experience is required
- Proficiency with SSIS is required
- Experience with Cisco Composite Data Virtualization tool is a plus
- Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: Java, JavaScript, C#, VBA, ASP.NET
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
- Knowledge of Web Services (XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, HTTPS) is required
- Knowledge in the Pensions or Benefits Administration industry is a plus
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities »
- Data development using ANSI SQL
- Data mining in various data warehouses and data marts
- Quality assurance on tools by configuring test plans in SOAP UI, executing test cases, first-level triage of defects found
- Create and maintain ETL process in SSIS
- Conduct peer testing, code review and impact analysis of the script developed by the other members
